LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR.

A self-motivated Lettings Negotiator is sought for our expanding Lettings agency.

Normal office hours 8:30 - 6:00pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays on a rota basis.

The role will involve all major aspects of the lettings process: registering applicants, matching them to properties, conducting interviews and negotiating deals, and completing all relevant paperwork efficiently. The position requires a proactive attitude to providing excellent customer care and to ensuring that all deals progress smoothly from the initial procedures to completion, so applicants must be professional and focussed.

The successful candidate should have:

A proven track record within lettings
An ability to meet and exceed company targets
Excellent communication skills
A customer-focussed attitude
Team orientation
Good computer literacy (databasing, MS Office)
Full, clean UK driving license
Local market knowledge
ARLA 1 qualification an advantage


Trainee Lettings Negotiator

A new opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Lettings Negotiator to join our office.

Normal office hours 8:30 - 6:00pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays on a rota basis.

You will bring enthusiasm and self motivation to the role, together with a natural flair for sales, a mature, professional approach and an ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Training and coaching will be offered to enable you to understand and become efficient in legislation; Housing, Landlord & Tenant Acts, plus many more.

You will be expected to study for the ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agencies).

Qualities: - Some experience in a sales oriented environment or experience as a sales negotiator

Lettings Administrator

You will have previous experience either as a lettings negotiator or a previous lettings administrator.

This position is temporary to permanent with an immediate start.

Normal office hours 8:30 - 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Key Areas of Responsibility
We are keen to recruit an experienced Administrator with superb presentation and telephone manner. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all the office administration, liaising with our clients at all levels.

You will need to be able to work well under pressure, in this busy, environment and have amazing organisation and communication skills. MS Office experience essential. You must be able to work under your own initiative and have incredible attention to detail. As a Lettings Administrator, you will provide a Legal Administration service, within a well motivated team in accordance with procedures, legislative and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include holding a weekly meeting providing and maintaining a legal administration system and professional service to Landlords. You will receive daily telephone calls from tenants and landlords and handle these calls in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Processing the volume of workload to the agreed service standards, handling complaints and resolving any issues, such as tenant repairs, queries on deposits, inventories and many more.

You will have excellent communication skills, a good telephone manner and previous office administration is essential. You may have worked within a lettings or estate agents previously, or a similar environment and you must be able to demonstrate experience within complaints.

Accounts assistant

A new opportunity has arisen for an accounts assistant to join our office.

Normal office hours 8:30 - 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

The role will involve:

Checking funds received against bank statement
Writing up and adding up of banking sheets
Preparation of landlord statements
Preparation of rent demands
Sending out landlord statements and rent demands
Filing landlord statements and rent demands
General filing
Code and input invoices into Accounting system
Reconcile creditors accounts with statements
Prepare monthly creditor payments by BACS transfer
Raise remittance advice for creditors
Writing cheques
Input of supplier invoices
Writing up and adding up of payment sheets
Preparing banking & going to the bank
Dealing with telephone queries both internal & external
Collating petty cash requests: reconciliation of petty cash accounts & receipts
General office help
Answering overflow switchboard calls, taking & relaying messages
General reconciliations
Input of sale & purchase ledger invoices
